Speaking at the celebration, Mr. Do Van Chien - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - acknowledged and praised the contributions of the Vietnam Law Association in the process of construction and development of the country.
Comrade Do Van Chien suggested that the association continue to promote good traditions, focus on implementing the directions of the Party and State on streamlining the apparatus, operating effectively, efficiently and efficiently, and seriously implementing Directive 14 of the Politburo.

Chairman of the Vietnam Lawyers Association Nguyen Khanh Ngoc said that when it was first established, the association had only 40 members, but now has more than 100,000 members. Most of them have a university degree or higher, working in all areas of legal and judicial life, and have made many positive and practical contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland over the past 70 years.
With a network of more than 100 Legal Consulting and Legal Assistance Centers and dozens of branches nationwide, legal consulting and free legal aid for the poor and policy beneficiaries are promoted by associations at all levels, a trusted address for the people.
Coordination with departments, ministries, unions and organizations at both the central and local levels has always been promoted by the association leaders, creating conditions for associations at all levels to complete a large number of tasks in the past time. The Vietnam Bar Association has always been an active member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Lawyers Association was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal.
