World oil price today
At the end of a trading week, WTI crude oil was at 66.49 USD/barrel last weekend, increasing to 68.45 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, WTI crude oil increased by 1.96 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 2.9% compared to last week.
Brent oil was at 68.30 USD/barrel last weekend, increasing to 70.36 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, Brent oil increased by 2.06 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 3% compared to last week.
Thus, world oil prices continued to maintain an upward trend last week, marking the second consecutive week of increase. According to analysts, oil demand is being driven by the peak period of oil refining in the summer to meet travel and electricity production needs.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On July 13, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil has been adjusted according to the price of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade since 3:00 p.m. on July 10.
Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 214 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 184 VND/liter; diesel price increased by 429 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 239 VND/liter; mazut price decreased by 244 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may have a slight adjustment in the direction of decreasing gasoline prices and increasing oil prices, but the fluctuations are not significant.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 50 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 60 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 10 VND/liter.
