Forecast of gasoline prices in the operating period tomorrow reverses and increases

According to a survey at 14:33 on July 9 (Vietnam time), WTI oil prices increased slightly by 0.05 USD/barrel (up 0.07%), to 68.38 USD/barrel. Brent oil price increased by 0.07 USD/barrel (up 0. 10%), to 70.22 USD/barrel.

For the domestic petroleum market, Mr. Doan Tien Quyet - data analysis expert of VPI - predicted that the retail price of E5 RON 92 gasoline could increase by 119 VND (0.6%) to 19,559 VND/liter, while RON 95-III gasoline could increase by 24 VND (0.1%) to 19,924 VND/liter.

VPI's model predicts that retail prices of diesel oil this period may increase by 423 VND (2.3%) to 18,823 VND/liter, kerosene may increase by 218 VND (1.2%) to 18,348 VND/liter, while mazut is forecast to decrease by 1.9% to 15,501 VND/kg. VPI forecasts that the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade will continue not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund this period.

According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may increase simultaneously.

Of which, RON 95 - III gasoline price is forecast to increase by about 140 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 170 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 370 VND/liter.
