World oil prices today
World oil prices continue to fluctuate strongly. At the end of the trading session on September 15, Brent oil price increased by 3.07 USD, equivalent to 2.9%, to 108.75 USD/barrel. WTI oil price increased by 4.44 USD, equivalent to 4.38%, to 105.83 USD/barrel. Both types of oil closed at the highest level since May 19.
Oil prices rose sharply after decommissioning operations at Yanbu port, Saudi Arabia's important oil export hub in the Red Sea, temporarily stopped, raising concerns that supply will continue to be disrupted.
Yanbu port plays a particularly important role in Saudi Arabia's oil transportation activities in the context of conflicts between the US, Israel and Iran that have almost paralyzed the Strait of Hormuz. This shipping route once undertook about 1/5 of the oil transported globally.
Concerns about supply continue to increase after the Houthi forces in Yemen, backed by Iran, launched new attacks on Saudi Arabia on September 14. At the same time, Arab countries in the Gulf postponed the planned talks with Iran, raising concerns that the conflict in the Middle East continues to spread and threaten global oil supplies.

According to a representative of a gasoline and oil business, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may increase.
In which:
- E10 gasoline increases by about 2,000 VND/liter
- E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increased by about 2,100 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil increased by about 2,900 VND/liter.
