Hanoi Ring Road 2.5 has a total length of about 19.64km, planning width of 40-50m. Starting point at Ciputra new urban area, ending at the intersection with Ring Road 3 (section near Thanh Tri bridge).
According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, to date, many sections have been completed and put into use: Section from Doan Ngoai Giao urban area to the intersection to Cau Giay street; Duong Dinh Nghe to Vu Pham Ham section (Trung Kinh street); Tran Duy Hung to Nguy Nhu Kon Tum section (Hoang Dao Thuy street); Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section (completed, is undergoing handover procedures to the city); section from National Highway 1A to Linh Nam street.
Currently, many sections of the route are being urgently constructed, striving to clear the technical route before October 10 according to Hanoi's direction.
The Ring Road 2.5 project, Cau Giay section - Dich Vong new urban area (Cau Giay ward, Hanoi) has a length of 420m, started many years ago, but until May 2026, the local government completed site clearance to deploy the construction of the road.
The investment project to build Ring Road 2.5 sections: Dich Vong - Duong Dinh Nghe new urban area; Vu Pham Ham - Tran Duy Hung; Nguy Nhu Kon Tum - Nguyen Trai has a total length of about 2.26 km.
This is a project implemented under the urgent construction order of the City People's Committee and started on March 20, 2026.
To date, the Dich Vong - Duong Dinh Nghe new urban area section has reached more than 80% of the volume, has completed the rainwater and wastewater drainage system and is constructing the foundation, road surface, and technical infrastructure, striving to basically complete it before October 5, 2026.
The remaining two sections are focusing on constructing the roadbed and drainage system.
Meanwhile, the Ring Road 2.5 project, Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section, has a route length of about 1.5km, with a cross-section scale of 40m.
The total investment of the project is more than 2,432 billion VND, of which site clearance costs are more than 2,001 billion VND.
To implement the project, Khuong Dinh ward must recover over 60,900m2 of land, involving 736 cases, including 720 households, individuals and 16 organizations.
By May 2026, site clearance work will be completed and transferred to the construction phase.
At the Ring Road 2.5 project, Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section, project construction is being urgently deployed by the contractor.
Many machines, equipment and a team of engineers and workers were mobilized by the contractor. Looking from above, the section of Ring Road 2.5 through Khuong Dinh ward has revealed its appearance.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Khuong Dinh ward Vo Dang Dung said that in the context of tight time, the weather is not really favorable, but the Khuong Dinh ward government is still very effortful and determined, striving to technically open the project according to the city's direction.
In the immediate future, the investor directs the contractor to urgently complete the section from the Nguyen Trai road intersection to the To Lich river bridge before 10. 10.
For the remaining section, the progress must also ensure technical traffic on the occasion of October 10. The completion work will continue to be implemented afterwards, ensuring the progress and quality of the project.
For the construction item of road No. 5 to the center of Tay Ho Tay new urban area (Belt Road 2.5 through Xuan Dinh ward), the length of the route is 582.04m, cross-section 50m, connecting from the Diplomatic Corps area to Nguyen Hoang Ton street.
By the end of June 2026, the entire site has been handed over, creating conditions for the project to accelerate implementation. The project is expected to be technically opened to traffic before September 30.
