World oil prices today
World gasoline and oil prices today turned down after a strong increase in the previous session. At the end of yesterday's trading session (February 16), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 1.37% and 1.33% respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil commodities reversed to decrease. At 12:47 PM (Vietnam time), WTI oil price was at 63.22 USD/barrel, down 0.34 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.53%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 63.56 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at 63.55 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 68.21 USD/barrel, down 0.43 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.63%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 68.65 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at 68.59 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On February 17, retail gasoline and oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in region 1 and region 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail gasoline and oil prices are adjusted by the inter-ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance from 3 pm on February 12, 2025.
Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline increased by 395 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline increased by 418 VND/liter; diesel oil increased by 10 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 122 VND/liter; mazut oil increased by 419 VND/kg.

+ Nghi Son Warehouse: Diesel oil 0.05S: 1. 200 VND/liter; Gasoline RON 95 - III: 1. 200 VND/liter.

+ Diesel oil 0.05S - II: 1. 150 VND/liter;
+ Diesel 0.001S-V: 1. 150 VND/liter;
+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 1. 150 VND/liter;
+ E5 gasoline: 1,000 VND/liter.

According to a representative of a gasoline and oil business, domestic gasoline and oil prices will fluctuate according to the world gasoline and oil situation. According to current market developments, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may increase slightly.
