Gasoline and oil prices today 12. 2: Simultaneously increase

World oil prices today

World gasoline and oil prices are in a strong upward trend. At the end of yesterday's trading session (February 11), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 1.05% and 1.16% respectively.

By today's session, both oil commodities continued to rise. At 1:02 PM (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil price was at 64.92 USD/barrel, up 0.29 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.45%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at a price of 64.63 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at a price of 64.84 USD/barrel.

Brent oil was at 69.63 USD/barrel, up 0.24 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.35%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 68.40 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at 69.67 USD/barrel.

Domestic gasoline prices today

On February 12, retail gasoline and oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in region 1 and region 2 are as follows:

The above domestic retail gasoline and oil prices are adjusted by the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance from 3 pm on February 5, 2025.

Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline increased by 100 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline increased by 35 VND/liter; diesel oil increased by 280 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 214 VND/liter; mazut oil increased by 517 VND/kg.

Gasoline and oil discount today

The discount rates for gasoline and oil products today, February 12th, at some domestic gasoline and oil businesses are as follows:

- Hoang Trong General Trading Co., Ltd.:

+ Hai Linh Warehouse, Hai Phong: Diesel oil 0.05S: 950 VND/liter; Gasoline RON 95 - III: 650 VND/liter.

+ Bac Ninh Warehouse: RON 95 - III gasoline: 500 VND/liter.

+ Nghi Son Warehouse: Diesel oil 0.05S: 950 VND/liter; Gasoline RON 95 - III: 650 VND/liter.

- Tu Luc Petroleum Joint Stock Company 1:

+ Diesel oil 0.05S - II: 900 VND/liter;

+ Diesel oil 0.001S-V: 900 VND/liter;

+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 600 VND/liter;

+ E5 gasoline: 600 VND/liter.

- MIPEC Petroleum Trading and Trading Co., Ltd. - MIPEC Petro (applied to the Northern region):

+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 800 VND/liter.

+ Diesel oil 0.05S-II: 700 VND/liter.

+ Diesel oil 0.05S: 900 VND/liter.

Domestic gasoline and oil price forecast for the next period

According to a representative of a gasoline and oil business, domestic gasoline and oil prices will fluctuate according to the world gasoline and oil situation. According to current market developments, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may be adjusted as follows:

- RON 95 - III gasoline increased by about 410 VND/liter;

- E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increased by about 390 VND/liter;

- Diesel oil increased by about 10 VND/liter.
