World oil price today
World oil prices today increased simultaneously. At the end of yesterday's trading session (December 23), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 0.64% and 0.5%, respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products continued to recover. At 10:16 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil price was at 58.42 USD/barrel, up 0.04 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.07%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 58.38 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 58.44 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 62.43 USD/barrel, up 0.05 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.08%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 62.38 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 62.48 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On December 24, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on December 18.
Accordingly, gasoline prices have decreased simultaneously. E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 376 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline decreased by 462 VND/liter; diesel decreased by 678 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 704 VND/liter; mazut decreased by 233 VND/kg

The discount levels of gasoline products today, December 24 at some domestic gasoline trading enterprises are as follows:
- Hoang Trong General Trading Company Limited:
+ Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong: Diesel 0.05S - II: 700 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,000 VND/liter.
+ Bac Ninh warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 550 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 850 VND/liter.
+ Nghi Son warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 700 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,000 VND/liter
- Tu Luc Petroleum Joint Stock Company 1:
+ Diesel 0.05S - II: 700 VND/liter;
+ Diesel 0.001S-V: 200 VND/liter
+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,100 VND/liter;

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may continue to decrease sharply.
Of which, RON 95 - III gasoline price is forecast to decrease by about VND 610/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 510 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 250 VND/liter.
