World oil prices today
World gasoline and oil prices fluctuate sharply with notable developments.
At the end of the weekend trading session, WTI crude oil price was at 94.40 USD/barrel, down 1.45 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.51%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 95.85 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 96.47 USD/barrel.
Conversely, Brent oil prices continued the upward trend. Brent oil is currently at 105.33 USD/barrel, up 0.26 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.24%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 106.07 USD/barrel and opened the weekend session at 106.02 USD/barrel.
According to analysts, world gasoline prices at the end of the week fluctuated in opposite directions as the market both expected negotiations between the US and Iran to be resumed and worried about supply risks due to unimproved transport disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.
Information that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi is scheduled to visit Islamabad to discuss proposals to resume negotiations with the US has somewhat eased market sentiment, after contacts earlier this week broke down, causing oil prices to rise sharply.
Along with that, US President Donald Trump said he would send special envoy Steve Witkoff and advisor Jared Kushner to Pakistan to work with Iran, showing that Washington is promoting diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions.
However, pressure on the energy market remains as traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is almost paralyzed. Iran's arrest of two cargo ships continues to show obstacles in the US's efforts to control this vital shipping route. Sea transport data recorded only 5 ships passing through the strait in the past 24 hours, including an Iranian oil tanker.

On April 25, retail gasoline and oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in region 1 and region 2 are as follows:
The above-mentioned domestic retail gasoline and oil prices were adjusted by the inter-ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance from 3 pm on April 23.
Accordingly, the price of E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 100 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline decreased by 162 VND/liter; diesel oil 0.05S decreased by 1,159 VND/liter; mazut oil decreased by 820 VND/kg.
