World oil prices today
World gasoline and oil prices simultaneously fell sharply. At the end of the weekend trading session, WTI oil price was at 85.88 USD/barrel, down 1.13 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.30%. WTI oil price closed the previous trading session at 92.19 USD/barrel, and opened today's session at 92.50 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 96.78 USD/barrel, down 3.91 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 3.88%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 100.69 USD/barrel, and opened today's session at 100.67 USD/barrel.
World oil prices turned down after information that China is pushing to resume peace talks between the US and Iran, aiming to end the conflict in the Middle East.
Along with that, on July 23 (local time), the US House of Representatives passed a symbolic resolution calling on President Donald Trump to end military actions against Iran.
The resolution was passed with 214 votes in favor and 208 votes against, of which 4 Republican senators and Democratic senators voted in favor.
According to the content of the resolution, President Donald Trump is required to withdraw US forces from conflicts against Iran, unless Congress officially allows it.
However, this is a simultaneous resolution, so it should not be submitted to the President for signing or vetoing. Therefore, the resolution has no legal value as a law that forces the President to comply.
The vote took place in the context of the US continuing to conduct attacks on Iranian military targets for the 13th consecutive night, while Iran attacked US bases and Gulf countries, Washington's allies.
Four US military personnel have been killed in recent attacks in Iran and their bodies have been brought back to the United States.
Conflicts also continue to spread along sea transport routes in the region, in the context of the Hormuz Strait being paralyzed. On July 22, Houthi forces in Yemen, backed by Iran, announced an attack on 2 Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea, after declaring a sea blockade against this country.

Domestic gasoline and oil price forecast for the next period
According to a representative of a gasoline and oil business, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may continue to increase.
In which:
- E10 gasoline increases by about 2,000 VND/liter
- E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increased by about 2,100 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil increased by about 2,500 VND/liter.
