World Oil Prices Today
World oil prices in today's trading session on July 30 (Vietnam time) simultaneously decreased. WTI crude oil is at $75.41/barrel, down $0.40/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.53%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at $75.81/barrel, opening today's session at $75.89/barrel.
Brent oil is at $78.64/barrel, down $0.41/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.52%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at $79.05/barrel and opened today's session at $79.13/barrel.
According to analysts, China's total oil imports decreased by 11% in the first half of 2024. This raises concerns about the outlook for oil demand there.
The market is still awaiting the interest rate decision from the US Federal Reserve (Fed). According to the plan, on July 30, the Fed will begin a 2-day policy meeting.
Domestic Oil Prices Today
On July 30, retail oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities currently applying) are as follows:
The above-mentioned domestic retail oil prices have been adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade in the price management period on the afternoon of July 26. Accordingly, E5 gasoline price decreased by 270 VND/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by 290 VND/liter; diesel oil was also adjusted down by 310 VND/liter; kerosene price decreased by 340 VND/liter.

Pvoil applies the discount rate on July 30: Oil discount 1,750 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,650 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,550 VND/liter. This discount rate is applied at Pvoil Dinh Vu warehouse, Petec An Hai, Cai Lan warehouse.
Tu Luc Oil discounts on July 30 are as follows: Oil discount: 1,700 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,600 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,500 VND/liter.
MIPEC Oil discounts on July 30: 95-III gasoline: 1,450; E5 gasoline: 1,200; oil: 1,750 VND/liter
Forecast of Domestic Oil Prices in the Next Period
According to a representative of an oil trading enterprise, domestic oil prices will fluctuate according to the world oil situation. It is forecasted that in the next price management period, oil prices will continue to decrease. In particular, gasoline may decrease by 200-300 VND/liter.
From the beginning of the year until now, from the price management session on January 4, gasoline prices have increased 16 times and decreased 14 times. Oil products have increased 15 times and decreased 15 times.
