In order to promote the development of OCOP products associated with craft villages, in 2025, Hanoi will continue to focus on supporting entities in craft villages to innovate OCOP product designs and designs. At the same time, promote trade promotion activities to promote, introduce and consume OCOP products from craft villages in the area.
According to statistics from the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, from 2021 to now, Hanoi has recognized 38 more craft villages, traditional craft villages and villages with traditional occupations. The total number of recognized craft villages has reached 337. The development of craft villages contributes to creating more than 760 out of a total of nearly 3,320 OCOP products of the city.
In the period of 2023 - 2024, Hanoi has built and developed 16 creative design centers, introducing, promoting and consuming OCOP products, associated with the development of craft villages and tourism. Thanks to that, many craft villages have recorded annual revenue growth, contributing positively to the local budget and creating jobs, increasing income for tens of thousands of rural workers.
It is expected that in 2025, the city will recognize 5 more similar centers, bringing the total number of creative design centers to 21. The expansion of the central system is expected to continue to create momentum for innovation, raising the value of the capital's OCOP products.
