According to Lao Dong reporter, VV Mall is considered the largest tax-free shopping center in the Central region, but after many years of operation, it has fallen into a gloomy situation.
VV Mall is promoted as a gathering place for many of the world's leading luxury brands, a tax-free shopping mall in the heart of the first city of Vietnam. Here, there are booths of world-famous luxury and luxury goods and consumer brands, meeting the needs of cuisine, accommodation, shopping, and tourism of tourists.

As of September 30, VV Mall has closed, all entrances and exits are locked and blocked.
A security guard at the shopping mall said that VV Mall is currently closed, with no customers coming to shop. Outside, gates 1,2,3 were all closed.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan (55 years old, living on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Da Nang) - informed that although it was built very spaciously, this tax-free shopping mall has been very deserted since its operation.
According to Ms. Loan, recently, this shopping mall has been closed and blocked, and people living in this area have occasionally taken advantage of the spacious yard in front as a place to relax and walk.
VV Mall, invested by Silver Shores Investment and Development Company Limited, is a 3-storey shopping mall with a total area of 35,000m2, located in the commercial building complex of JW Marriott Hotel and Crowne Plaza.
In which, the first floor includes retail units, restaurants and 24-hour service areas; the second floor is a tax-free shopping center; the third floor is the international restaurant and food area.

The Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City previously informed that on November 10, 2022, the unit granted a License to establish a retail facility to Lotte Phu Khanh Tax-Exempt Trading Company Limited to officially put the domestic tax-free store in Da Nang City into operation.

Accordingly, this store has an area of 2,006m2 located on the 2nd floor of VV Mall ( Vo Nguyen Giap Street). Stores selling perfumes, cosmetics, alcoholic beverages, jewelry, watches and many other duty-free items... for subjects who are waiting to leave the country; subjects entitled to incentives and exemptions in Vietnam; foreign tourists following a group by sea; crew members working on international cruise ships.
At the time of opening, VV Mall had 75/91 booths for rent.
