Speaking at the opening, Secretary of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee Pham Quang Ngoc emphasized that, on the basis of the Vietnam - Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, cooperation between Hung Yen and localities and Japanese businesses is increasingly developing strongly.
Japan is currently an important strategic partner of the province, with about 190 investment projects and a total registered capital of nearly 6.5 billion USD. Thang Long II Industrial Park alone, invested in infrastructure by Sumitomo Corporation, has attracted nearly 100 projects of Japanese businesses with a total capital of about 3.6 billion USD, forming the largest Japanese industrial ecosystem in the province.

According to the Secretary of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, the program is a bridge for businesses of both sides to strengthen cooperation, promote products, learn about the investment environment, remove difficulties and expand job opportunities for people.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Anh Tuan highly appreciated Hung Yen's role in promoting Vietnam-Japan economic cooperation. He proposed that the province continue to improve infrastructure, prepare human resources and land funds to welcome new investment waves, especially in the fields of high technology, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, clean energy and green transformation.

Mr. Ito Naoki - Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam said that Hung Yen has a great geographical advantage when conveniently connected with Hanoi and Hai Phong. Many Japanese businesses are considering this as an important production center and continue to expand investment in the fields of electronics, components and high technology.
He also recommended that the province continue to pay attention to developing human resources, housing for workers and strengthening regional infrastructure connections.
At the dialogue session, Japanese businesses focused on recommendations on human resources, administrative procedures, industrial park infrastructure, fire prevention and fighting, and business production conditions. In which, labor shortages, especially technical labor, are the most reflected issues.

Leaders of Hung Yen province said that the locality is promoting vocational training links according to business needs, expanding cooperation with localities with abundant labor resources and implementing many solutions to attract high-quality labor.
At the same time, the province requests departments and sectors to review the process of resolving administrative procedures, promote digital transformation, and promptly handle issues related to traffic, environment, and fire prevention and fighting.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen affirmed that the province will fully absorb the opinions of Japanese businesses to continue to improve the investment environment.
He said that Hung Yen is opening up a new development space with many strategic infrastructure projects and is committed to always accompanying and creating the most favorable conditions for Japanese investors.
In the period 2026 - 2030, the province sets a target to develop more than 73,000 social housing units, and strives to complete over 9,500 units in 2026 alone to meet the needs of workers.
