The conference took place under the direction of the following officials: Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Ngo Duy Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Thai Thu Xuong - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Vice Presidents of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor: Phan Van Anh, Nguyen Xuan Hung.
The conference focused on discussing the preparation for the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, the Congress's personnel report, and the Draft Resolution of the Conference.
After a period of urgent, serious and responsible work, the 13th Conference of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor unanimously agreed on all the contents of the proposed program.
Speaking at the closing of the final session of the Executive Committee - XIII term, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, said that the contents considered and decided at the Conference are of particular importance, and are the final tasks to prepare for the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, through discussion, delegates reached a very high consensus on the preparation for the Congress, from documents, charters, personnel work to propaganda, logistics and conditions to serve the Congress.
The President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized the role and sense of responsibility of the Executive Committee members as well as the Heads of delegations participating in the congress.
The conference unanimously elected 2 additional personnel to participate in the Presidium of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, including: Mr. Pham Duc Long - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Chairman of the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union and Mr. Pham Tien Dung - Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Chairman of the Vietnam Bank Trade Union.
This is the final session of the Executive Committee - XIII term, 2023-2028.
