Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Urawadee Sriphiromya - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Vietnam emphasized that the exhibition of Thai - Vietnamese products as well as the 2nd "Meet Thailand" Conference in Lao Cai province are important events, affirming the long-standing friendship between Thailand and Vietnam.
According to Ms. Urawadee Sriphiromya, Lao Cai is a land rich in cultural traditions, has a prime location, a modern business environment, and is located on a traffic route connecting trade and economy, especially border gate economy.
The exhibition area not only introduces quality products from Thailand and Vietnam, but is also an opportunity for trade partners to seek cooperation opportunities and explore each other's markets.
Thailand is proud to introduce to the exhibition area quality products using high technology to produce, along with traditional handicrafts.
Standing Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh requested the Embassy, Trade Promotion Office, Investment Promotion Office, General Department of Tourism, and Thai Business Association in Vietnam to continue to pay attention and support to attract Thai businesses to explore investment, business, trade, and tourism cooperation opportunities in Lao Cai and the midland and mountainous provinces of Northern Vietnam.
In addition, Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh hopes that Thailand will support and create conditions for Lao Cai province to organize experience learning programs to develop and promote trade promotion and logistics activities in Thailand.
