Saigon Square Shopping Center is a shopping area located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City (77 - 89 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, District 1) attracting many international tourists to visit and shop.

Initially, traders have not provided information and related documents of thousands of products suspected of being counterfeit.
In 2024, Saigon Square Shopping Center has been inspected and seized by market management forces many times with signs of counterfeiting foreign trademarks that are protected in Vietnam.
Previously, on May 28, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee informed that Ho Chi Minh City has just issued a plan to focus on fighting and repelling smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods... in the area.
During the peak period from June 15 to 14, Ho Chi Minh City authorities will increase inspections at key traffic routes, airports, unit markets, shopping malls and e-commerce platforms. Smuggling, production, and trading of counterfeit goods and goods of unknown origin (drugs, functional foods, milk, pharmaceuticals, etc.) will be strictly handled.
