Dacinco contractor appointed to replace Cienco4 in Ha Nam

Dacinco has won 2/3 of the bid packages in Ha Nam

The People's Committee of Ha Nam province has just issued a decision to ban Cienco4 for 4 years. This unit is banned from bidding related to package No. 11: Construction and installation of the completed construction investment project according to the planning of route N1, D1 of Nam Cao University Area.

After terminating the construction contract with Cienco4, the Management Board of Nam Cao University Area appointed Dacinco Construction Investment Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as Dacinco) to participate.

According to information from Lao Dong Newspaper, Dacinco, headquartered in Da Nang, was established in 2006. This unit participated in 94 packages, of which 69 packages were won. The total value of the winning packages is more than 34,000 billion VND. This figure is calculating the total value of the entire consortium.

Notably, in Ha Nam, Dacinco has participated in 3 bidding packages. Previously, on December 23, 2024, the Phu Ly City Construction Investment Project Management Board issued Decision No. 331/QD-QLDA approving package No. 12: Construction (including traffic safety costs). The winning bidder was a joint venture of Dacinco Construction Investment Company Limited (main consortium) and Hop Tien Company Limited, Nhat Huy Construction and Trading Company. The contractor won the bid for 410 billion VND.

4 days later, on December 27, 2024, the Ha Nam Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board issued Decision No. 2517/QD-BQLDA approving Package No. 18: Construction of the route (including construction of roads, intersections, lighting systems, and traffic costs). Dacinco won the bid for this package at nearly 220 billion VND.

Construction items at Nam Cao University

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, at Nam Cao University, many items are under construction. In particular, N1 road, lighting has been installed, in the middle of the two directions is a large area of land with corrugated iron.

Nam Cao University Management Board said that after terminating the construction contract with Cienco4, Nam Cao University Management Board had appointed the second-placed contractor, Tu Lap Construction Company Limited, to continue constructing the project, but this enterprise issued a document refusing to participate in the construction.

According to regulations, the contractor ranked 3rd is Dacinco Construction Investment Company Limited, which then agreed to sign the construction contract for the remaining volume of the project and is responsible for paying for the volume that Cienco4 has constructed since the groundbreaking date of March 20, 2025.

Talking to the Lao Dong newspaper reporter, Nam Cao University Management Board said: “Cienco4 has not been constructed for a long time and the volume has not been much, mostly they have just implemented the construction preparation work. Currently, the replacement contractor is Dacinco Construction Investment Co., Ltd. has embarked on construction. Cienco4, generally the progress of the project is not much affected. ”
