Entering the seaweed harvest season, hundreds of households in Van Tuong and Dong Son communes (Quang Ngai) have significant income, each family earns about 50-70 million VND in just one month. This year, seaweed is in season, priced well, helping many fishermen have an income of over 1 million VND per day.

Apricot seedlings are harvested according to a sustainable process, people only harvest from June 1, cut 10-25cm away from the root and retain about 30% of the reserves to regenerate the source of income. Only income over 28.63 million VND/month is subject to tax if there is 1 dependent
According to Decree 253/2026/ND-CP, taxpayers are supplemented with deductions for medical expenses (maximum 23 million VND/year) and education - training (maximum 24 million VND/year) if they have full invoices and documents. At the same time, the family deduction level is increased to 15.5 million VND/month for themselves and 6.2 million VND/month for each dependent.
In the case of 1 dependent and enjoying maximum health and education deductions, the total deduction may reach 307.4 million VND/year. According to calculations by the Ministry of Finance, people with income up to 28 million VND/month are still not required to pay personal income tax; only when income is over 28.63 million VND/month are they required to start paying tax at a tax rate of 5%. Individuals owing tax from 50 million VND or more for more than 120 days may be temporarily suspended from leaving the country
The Government has just issued Decree 252/2026/ND-CP stipulating cases of temporary suspension of exit due to tax debt. Accordingly, business individuals and business households subject to tax enforcement will be temporarily suspended from exit if they owe 50 million VND or more and are overdue from 120 days.

For beneficial owners, legal representatives of enterprises and cooperatives, the applicable threshold is debt from 500 million VND or more and overdue for 120 days. In addition, taxpayers who do not operate at registered addresses, foreigners who still owe taxes, or Vietnamese people who exit to settle when they have not fulfilled their tax obligations are also subject to temporary exit suspension. Support interest rates up to 100% for strategic technology research enterprises
From July 1, 2026, Decree 260/2026/ND-CP takes effect, allowing strategic technology research and development enterprises to be supported with loan interest rates from the National Technology Innovation Fund (NATIF) and science and technology funds. The maximum support level is 100% of the loan interest rate but not exceeding 10%/year, for a maximum period of 5 years.
This policy does not apply to all bank loans. Only businesses that meet the conditions and are approved for strategic technology research tasks are considered for support. If the loan interest rate exceeds 10%/year, businesses still have to pay the difference themselves. See more...
