On March 5, Mr. Nguyen Ba Ut - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Lam Dong province said that the supply of gasoline and oil in the area is still maintained stably.
The Department has requested communes, wards and Phu Quy special zone, along with business establishments and functional agencies, to implement measures to ensure supply.
Accordingly, the Department of Industry and Trade requests gasoline and oil traders not to interrupt supply in the system; proactively plan to reserve and supply enough goods to retail stores under the distribution system, maintain regular sales operations in all situations.
Key gasoline and oil business units are requested to pay attention to sharing supply sources and reasonable profits in the distribution system, ensuring no interruption of fuel supply to the market.
At the same time, localities strengthen the supervision of the operation of gasoline and oil retail stores in the area; promptly report to functional agencies to implement market stabilization solutions when necessary.
The Department of Industry and Trade also requested the Market Management Sub-Department to closely monitor supply and demand developments, gasoline and oil selling prices; promptly detect abnormal signs to have handling plans.
Functional forces will strengthen inspections of businesses and gasoline and oil retail stores to detect and prevent violations.
On that basis, strictly handle acts of hoarding goods, creating supply scarcity, arbitrarily increasing prices, selling at prices not in accordance with listed prices, trading in smuggled gasoline and oil, of unknown origin and origin, and not ensuring quality.
