It is known that the Lào Cai Provincial Center for Promotion, Investment, Trade, and Business Support after establishment will have the function of promoting investment, trade, support, consultation, building preferential policies, attracting... for businesses in the province.
The center will be subject to the direction, management of the Department of Planning and Investment of the province, at the same time subject to the management and professional guidance on trade promotion, encouragement, and energy saving of the Department of Industry and Trade.
The working office of the center is located in Lào Cai city. In addition, this unit has a legal personality, a separate seal, and is allowed to open an account to operate according to the regulations of the law.
In 2018, the Lào Cai Provincial Center for Encouraging Industry and Trade Promotion was established according to the decision of the Lào Cai Provincial People's Committee, on the basis of merging the Lào Cai Provincial Center for Encouraging Industry and Industrial Development Consultation with the Lào Cai Provincial Trade Promotion Center.
This is a public non-business unit, with part of the regular expenditure guaranteed by the state budget, directly under the Department of Industry and Trade.
