On December 29, Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) organized the "Conference summarizing work in 2025 and deploying tasks in 2026" in Hanoi. The conference was attended by Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son.

Reporting at the conference, Vinachem General Director Nguyen Huu Tu said that the Group has comprehensively completed the planned targets and achieved the highest results ever in many fields.
Accordingly, the value of industrial production in 2025 is estimated at 61,381 billion VND, an increase of 10.3% compared to 2024, reaching 100.3% of the annual plan and the highest in history. Consolidated revenue increased by about 8%, while the Group's total profit skyrocketed by 73% compared to the previous year. In particular, the Parent Company - Vinachem has eliminated all accumulated losses, reached the target 6 months ahead of schedule and exceeded all targets of the 5-year period 2021-2025.
In parallel with growth in scale and business efficiency, Vinachem continues to affirm its key role in ensuring the balance of chemicals and fertilizers for the economy. In 2025, the Group supplied millions of tons of fertilizers and pesticides, meeting more than 45% of the domestic market share. Many of Vinachem's products hold the dominant market share, such as DAP fertilizer accounting for 52%, supe phosphate accounting for 65% and fused phosphate accounting for 78% of the national market share.
Vinachem's integration and export activities in the past year also recorded many positive signs. International cooperation relations have been expanded, and Vinachem has made great strides in implementing the Potassium salt mining and processing project in Laos - a key project abroad. Immediately after being allowed by competent authorities to continue, the Group urgently mobilized resources, and many working groups went to Laos to work to accelerate the project progress. To date, the salt mine project is closely following the set implementation milestones, ready to move to the construction phase.
Leading the chemical industry in the new era
At the Conference, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son expressed his belief that Vinachem will continue to promote tradition, bravery and spirit of innovation to enter a new stage of development with a proactive and steadfast mindset. However, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that the Group needs to continue to closely follow and fully and effectively implement the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State, thereby further affirming the role of the core state-owned enterprise, pioneering and leading the chemical industry in the new era of development of the country.

Along with that, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that Vinachem needs to further promote research and application of science and technology, promote digital transformation in a substantive way, considering this as an important driving force to improve product quality, management efficiency and competitiveness in the domestic and international markets. In that process, the Group needs to proactively remove difficulties, focus resources to accelerate the progress of key projects, and closely monitor market developments to promptly seize opportunities and create room for sustainable growth.
The Deputy Prime Minister also shared and wished Vinachem to continue to pay attention to caring for the material and spiritual life of workers, considering this as the foundation for the stability and long-term development of the group; and at the same time constantly consolidate the internal solidarity bloc, promote the overall strength of the entire system, and create high consensus in implementing tasks in 2026 and the following years.

Fully absorbing the directing opinions of the Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Member Council Phung Quang Hiep affirmed that Vietnam National Chemical Group will seriously absorb and be determined to complete the orientations and directions of the Deputy Prime Minister, considering this as a guiding principle for activities in 2026 and the following years.
The Group is determined to concretize the above orientations into practical and synchronous action programs and solutions, striving to successfully complete the goals and tasks of 2026, creating a solid foundation for the development period 2026 - 2030.
