Before the information that gasoline and oil prices may be affected by the prolonged conflict in the Middle East, some gasoline and oil business stores in the inner city of Hai Phong have seen a situation of limiting the amount of money per gasoline filling.
According to people's reflections, at Hoa Phuong 8 gas station (Pham Van Dong street, Duong Kinh ward, Hai Phong city), the store announced a maximum refueling limit of 300,000 VND/turn for cars.
As a driver specializing in running the Hai Phong - Hanoi and Hanoi - Noi Bai airport routes, traveling long distances is a daily story for Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung (Hai An ward, Hai Phong).
At about 5 pm on March 4th, I went to refuel, the store staff announced that it would only be 300,000 VND/turn for all vehicles that are cars. In the end, wanting to fill up the tank, I had to turn around and then come back to say I needed to fill up the tank because I would go to Hanoi in the evening, they only let me fill up the tank" - Mr. Dung said.
Participating in groups for drivers, Mr. Dung said that when people text to inform each other, other gas stations all fill up the tanks, while Hoa Phuong gas station started to limit it from the afternoon of March 4.
People around in cars, everyone wants to fill the tank. If filled, my car usually has a price ranging from 700,000-800,000 VND/time. Today when parking at the gas station, the meter already displayed 300,000 VND," Mr. Dung said.
According to Mr. Dung, limiting the refueling level causes inconvenience for drivers traveling long distances. On average, he has to refuel 2-3 times a week, sometimes 4-5 times a week, costing about 3 million VND/week.
In the coming time, it will probably be difficult because of the lack of supply from the conflict in the Middle East, work will be stalled. I just hope that the supply will not be interrupted, with this work, without gasoline, it will not be possible to meet life needs" - Mr. Dung expressed.
Recorded at 7:46 PM at Hoa Phuong 6 gas station (Hai An ward, Hai Phong) shows that the limited price level has a difference.
The staff of this gas station said: "Flooding a maximum of 500,000 VND/turn". When asked about the limit on the number of gasoline fillings per day, this staff member informed: "Go for a while and then turn around to fill up, motorbikes can be filled freely, without limits".

The Machine Learning-applied gasoline and oil price forecasting model of the Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI) shows that in the operating period on March 5, retail gasoline and oil prices may increase from 6.1 - 6.7% compared to the previous operating period, if the Inter-Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade does not allocate or use the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund.
According to a representative of a gasoline and oil business, domestic gasoline and oil prices will fluctuate according to the world gasoline and oil situation. According to current market developments, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may increase sharply.
In which the forecast: RON 95-III gasoline increased by about 1,970 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by about 1,780 VND/liter; diesel oil increased by about 3,220 VND/liter.
