On August 19, on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2nd, in Nghe An, the groundbreaking ceremony of 3 large-scale projects in the fields of urban areas, resort tourism and waste treatment took place.
In Truong Vinh ward, Sun Group started construction of a housing, commercial, and service complex with a total investment of more than 8,700 billion VND.

The project is implemented on an area of about 3.74ha, including commercial, service, education, serviced apartment podiums from 1-3 floors high; residential tower blocks from 35-37 floors high with 2 basements. This is also Sun Group's first project in Nghe An.
On the same day, in Tan Mai ward, SunWin One Member Limited Liability Company organized the technical commencement of the La Brise Resort Project, with a total investment of more than 2,150 billion VND.
The project has a scale of nearly 217.75ha, including 3 main sub-areas. Of which, about 89ha is for a resort with villas, luxury hotels and health care services; 90ha is for building an 18-hole golf course; about 38.75ha is for green trees, landscape and ecosystem conservation.
According to the plan, the project will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2029. The investor is committed to putting phase 1 and the golf course into operation on April 30 - May 1, 2027.
Also on the morning of August 19, Amaccao Group and Galax Joint Stock Company started the Nghe An Waste-to-Energy Plant Project at Nghi Yen Solid Waste Treatment Complex, Hai Loc commune.

The project has a scale of nearly 7.2ha, a total investment of 4,056 billion VND, a treatment capacity of 1,500 tons of waste/day and night and a power generation capacity of 30MW. According to published information, this is the largest waste-to-energy plant in the Central region and among the largest in the country today.
According to the investment policy adjustment decision, phase 1 of the project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2028, phase 2 in the fourth quarter of 2030. However, the investor sets a target to complete construction, equipment installation and operation of both phases in the fourth quarter of 2027.
Thus, the total investment capital of 3 projects started in Nghe An on August 19 reached nearly 15,000 billion VND. The projects are expected to supplement urban infrastructure, tourism services and waste treatment capacity, creating more motivation for socio-economic development of the province in the new phase.
