On the afternoon of August 12, in Hoang Mai ward, Nghe An province, the 2026 All People's Day for National Security Protection took place in a jubilant and exciting atmosphere with the participation of leaders of the Central Government, Nghe An province and a large number of local people.
Attending the festival were Mr. Doan Minh Huan - Member of the Politburo, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security and leaders of Nghe An province.
Before attending the festival, Mr. Doan Minh Huan and the working delegation came to encourage and give gifts to officials, people, and volunteers participating in the humanitarian blood donation program in Hoang Mai ward.
According to the Organizing Committee, in recent years, the movement "All people protect national security" in Nghe An has been widely deployed with many practical and effective models. The whole province has 18 models praised and replicated nationwide by the Ministry of Public Security.
Hoang Mai ward alone has implemented many self-management and self-prevention models on security and order. Hoang Mai Ward Police were awarded the Prime Minister's Excellent Emulation Flag in the emulation movement "For National Security" in 2025.
Speaking at the festival, Mr. Doan Minh Huan acknowledged the results of Nghe An province and Hoang Mai ward in ensuring security and order, building a movement for the whole people to protect national security.
At the same time, it is proposed that localities continue to promote the role of the people as the subjects, improve the quality of self-management, self-prevention, and self-protection models right from the grassroots level; promptly commend good models and effective ways of doing things.
For Hoang Mai ward, Mr. Doan Minh Huan proposed to strive to build a model locality in terms of security, order and urban civilization, step by step implementing the goal of "drug-free ward".
In the jubilant atmosphere of the festival, leaders of the Central Government, the Ministry of Public Security and Nghe An province presented many gifts and rewarded collectives and individuals with achievements in the all-people movement to protect national security.
