On May 30, according to information from the Nghe An Department of Finance, total state budget revenue in the province by the end of May 2026 is estimated to reach nearly 15,000 billion VND, reaching more than 64% of the year's estimate.
In which, domestic revenue reached nearly 13,740 billion VND, an increase of more than 29% compared to the same period. Notably, revenue from the foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprise sector increased by nearly 80%, showing the effectiveness of investment attraction and production development activities in the area.

In addition, revenue from the non-state business sector and registration fees also recorded a strong increase.
Import and export activities continue to be a bright spot, reaching about 1,150 billion VND, an increase of nearly 59% compared to the same period. The export turnover of goods of Nghe An exceeded 2.5 billion USD, of which the group of electronics and components increased by more than 173%.
In the first 5 months of 2026, Nghe An province also granted 21 new FDI projects, with total registered capital increasing more than 8 times compared to the same period. Along with that, more than 2,300 new businesses were established, an increase of nearly 47%.
The above results show that Nghe An's economy continues to maintain positive growth momentum, especially in the FDI enterprise sector, import-export and new business development.
