On September 6, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee directed Po To Commune People's Committee on compensation and site clearance for the Livestock Feed Production Plant Project and the High-Tech Pig Farm Project of Thinh Phat - Muyuan Gia Lai Co., Ltd.
The province requests the People's Committee of Po To commune to review the origin of land use of households, and immediately develop a scenario for coercive land recovery for cases of intentional non-compliance.
Po To Commune People's Committee and mass organizations continue to propagate, mobilize, and clearly explain the province and commune's policies for people to understand.
Households that agree on a plan to hand over land will be removed from the list of coercion. Determined at the last minute, households that do not hand over must be coerced to hand over clean land to the project.
The Commune People's Committee is also studying solutions to exchange production land. Accordingly, the investor coordinates with the locality to study a plan to arrange equivalent land area in a location near the project area to exchange for households that really need cultivation and production but do not want to receive money.
