Da Nang residents have a hotline to denounce gas station violations

Da Nang - Through the hotline at gas stations, people can immediately report acts of selling in small quantities or closing to stop selling for no reason.

Da Nang City Market Management Department informed that it has completed the posting of hotline phone numbers at all gasoline and oil business stores throughout the area from March 8. At each gasoline and oil store, consumers will see two hotline phone numbers clearly listed.

In addition to the common hotline number 0829. 001. 799, functional agencies also publicly announce the personal phone number of the head of the market management team directly in charge of that area. All these lines are set up to be on duty 24/24 hours to be ready to receive feedback from organizations and individuals.

Through people's feedback, the market management force will focus on thoroughly handling violations such as not listing prices, selling higher than prescribed prices or arbitrarily increasing prices. In particular, tricks that often cause public outrage such as closing to stop selling for no reason, hanging false signs saying goods are sold out or intentionally selling "in small drops", controlling customers' gasoline purchase amounts are also subject to close supervision. In addition, stores opening late or closing earlier than the announced time will also be recorded and strictly handled according to the provisions of law.

In addition, affiliated units are still actively promoting legal propaganda to each business owner. Currently, all gas stations in the city are still operating normally, the supply of goods is guaranteed to be stable, and there is no phenomenon of breakdown or local scarcity.

Previously, the Da Nang Market Management Sub-Department deployed forces to closely monitor the area. Inspection and supervision work is carried out continuously and updated reports are daily to ensure that stores comply with regulations on sales hours as well as public price listing. The posting of hotline notices this time is considered an important step, mobilizing the strength from community supervision to maintain the discipline of the gasoline and oil market in the locality.
