On March 27, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ca Mau province organized a conference to summarize the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program for the period 2021-2025, announce and award certificates of OCOP products in 2025.
According to reports, the whole province has 150 participating entities with 2 5-star products, 74 4-star products and 254 3-star products. Currently, there are 19 points to introduce and sell OCOP products; 101 products are in supermarket systems, stores inside and outside the province; 129 products are consumed on e-commerce platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing solutions to improve quality, expand the consumption market of OCOP products, associated with agricultural tourism development and strengthening promotion.
Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ca Mau province To Hoai Phuong said that the OCOP Program has contributed to exploiting local potentials and advantages, promoting rural economic development.
In 2026, the province sets a target of having 460 OCOP products; striving for at least 70 more products to achieve 3-4 stars and upgrading 18 products to 4-5 stars. At the same time, aiming for 30% of products to be distributed through modern sales channels.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee issued 34 certificates of OCOP products achieving 3 to 5 stars in 2025; awarded Certificates of Merit to 9 collectives and 8 individuals with typical achievements in the period 2021-2025.
