Ninh Binh flexible power plant project will be invested and built in Kim Dong commune (Kim Son district, Ninh Binh province) with a total area of 73ha, a capacity of 300MW. The project is invested by the investor is 3-igncp Power Generation Corporation and Thuan Hai Transport Service Joint Stock Company.
Mr. Nguyen Cao Son - Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee - said that the investment and construction of Ninh Binh flexible power plant together with the stopping and relocation of Ninh Binh Thermal Power Plant to thoroughly solve the problem of environmental pollution in the center of Hoa Lu city and urban embellishment towards civilized, modern, in accordance with the viewpoints and orientations for urban development of Ninh Binh province.
In order to accelerate the implementation progress, soon complete the above goals and tasks, and contribute to ensuring energy security, serving socio -economic development, Ninh Binh People's Committee has assigned the People's Committee of Kim Son District to preside over and coordinate with relevant units, clearly identify the location, area, scope and boundaries of the flexible power plant, the direction of the connection line, connection points.
At the same time, urgently implementing local adjustment of the general planning of the area from Binh Minh II dike to the floating alcohol and reviewing the relevant and necessary plans, immediately implementing the adjustment and legal guarantee to implement the project.

"Ninh Binh province is trying to accelerate the implementation of the investment project to build a flexible power plant in Ninh Binh, striving to the end of 2027 and early 2028 will generate half a capacity and by 2029 will generate 100% power.
