Check-in Tam Thang Tower, welcome the sunrise at sea
Not only famous for its beautiful beaches, Vung Tau (HCMC) also has many unique destinations, visited by many tourists to experience, check-in, immerse yourself in nature, enjoy the fresh air, and seek unforgettable moments.
Having just been completed and put into use since the beginning of September 2025, the Tam Thang Tower highlight project (Thuy Van Square, Vung Tau Ward) is being shared by many young people, coming to visit, enjoy and check-in with beautiful photos.
Every day, many young people come to this area to choose corners with towers rising high against the blue sky. At night, the atmosphere is even more vibrant with a colorful strip of the tower towers and fountains, turning this place into a splendid forest of light.
"The Tam Thang Tower area has very cinematic shooting angles during the day, so I and some friends went there to take beautiful photos. At night, it is splendid and attractive since the early days of operation," said Ms. Ngoc Anh - a person who took photos here.
According to Ms. Hoang Thien (a tourist), seeing many people sharing beautiful photos on social networks, she took the time to take a photo set of Tam Thang Tower. "I am very satisfied with this photo series, and my friends also gave many compliments to the photo series," said Ms. Hoang Thien.
One of the destinations in Vung Tau that many tourists are looking for and experiencing is Nghinh Phong Cape. For more than a year now, on beautiful days, since the sun has not yet appeared, many tourists have come to hunt for and enjoy the first rays of sunshine of the new day, welcoming the sunrise at sea.
Mr. Phan Quoc Khanh - a tourist from Dong Nai - said that according to information shared on social networks, he and a group of friends went to the Nghinh Phong mui area while it was still dark. The group chose a favorable location, and waited for the sun to shine. "The first time I came to Nghinh Phong Cape, I first found the air very airy and cool. When the first rays of sunlight appeared and shone on the sea, the scenery was very beautiful and impressive," said Mr. Khanh.
Increasing attraction through check-in tourism
Recently, many destinations have become known to tourists through promotional forms on social networks. On groups, they often share with each other about attractive destinations, considered check-in places with beautiful and impressive "views"; thereby attracting many people to come to have beautiful photos and store memories during their trips.
In Vung Tau, not only the two destinations above but also many other destinations are spread by people and tourists through photo sets, sharing interesting experiences. For example, at the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Museum - Library (under the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City) with modern beauty along with archived antiques. Or right next to it is Bach Dinh - a relic with the quiet beauty of an ancient villa with European architecture from the 19th century surrounded by hundreds of porcelain trees over a hundred years old, creating a space that is both classic, poetic and attractive to many visitors.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Ban - Secretary of the Vung Tau Ward Party Committee - commented that Vung Tau had not previously taken advantage of its potential and advantages to develop tourism and attract tourists, leading to a large number of tourists coming to Vung Tau mainly only bathing in the sea and eating seafood; lacking high-quality tourism services. Therefore, Vung Tau needs to develop more diverse tourism products from entertainment, check-in to sports, healthcare... to meet the diverse enjoyment needs of tourists. Especially high-end, modern services with high added value..., contributing to building Ho Chi Minh City into a major service center of the country and the region.
In fact, it has happened in many places, beautiful and impressive check-in destinations have become ambassadors to promote the image, attracting tourists to the locality. Therefore, if properly invested and exploited, combined with a synchronous product and service development strategy, the Vung Tau area in particular and the east of Ho Chi Minh City in general will increase competitive advantage, maintaining the position of the regional marine tourism center.
Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - commented that Vung Tau has now had many changes compared to before, especially after completing the renovation of Bai Sau area, with an additional highlight being Tam Thang Tower. The development of Vung Tau also contributes to the development of Ho Chi Minh City's sea tourism.
According to Mr. Dung, Ho Chi Minh City is currently focusing on developing high-quality tourism at the regional level, attracting domestic and international visitors, becoming a spearhead economic sector in the future and contributing greatly to local economic growth.
