The People's Committee of Quang Ninh province has just issued Decision No. 1951/QD-UBND, officially approving the results of selecting investors to implement the High-end resort - entertainment complex project, Monbay Van Don golf course and residential area, in Ha Long commune, Van Don district, Quang Ninh province.
According to this Decision, Hai Dang Real Estate Investment Company Limited has been selected as the winning investor. This is an important step forward in realizing the tourism potential and socio-economic development of the Van Don area.
The high-end resort and entertainment complex project, golf course and residential area of Monbay Van Don promises to become an international-class tourism highlight, contributing to enhancing the position of Quang Ninh on the tourism map of Vietnam. With a large scale and diverse types of services, the project will not only attract a large number of domestic and foreign tourists but also create thousands of jobs, promoting local economic development.
This major project has a total investment of VND 24,883 billion (equivalent to USD 1 billion).

The project will be widely bid to select investors in the first quarter of 2025. The total land area of the project is about 299.64 hectares, in Ha Long commune, Van Don district, Quang Ninh province; expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2030.
The goal of the project is to synchronously rebuild the overall technical infrastructure system, the high-end resort - entertainment complex, the golf course and residential area of Monbay Van Don interacting with tourism activities to meet the requirements of the domestic and international markets.
The project has a scale of about 3,000 guests/day and a population of 9,800 people. The area within the project is 299.64 ha, with a land area of 279.54 ha, and a sea area of about 20.1 ha. The structure of housing products includes: 236 villas; 257 townhouses and townhouses; 2,614 high-rise apartments and 606 social housing units.
The project's operating period is maximum 70 years.
The project of the high-end resort - entertainment complex, golf course and residential area of Monbay Van Don interacting with tourism activities was approved by the Prime Minister in February 2022.
