The decision awarding ceremony was chaired by Mr. Bui Van Khang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee.
Among the 16 projects awarded decisions, 6 projects were granted investment registration certificates, 8 projects were approved for investment policy and 2 projects established industrial clusters.
In which, the group of projects awarded investment registration certificates in Quang Hanh ward: Hotel and commercial service complex Area 7; Conference center, resort tourism, commercial service area 8; projects to build factories, warehouses for rent and Topping Quang Ninh Factory, TSMT Quang Ninh Factory in Song Khoai Industrial Park and S-Vietnam project.
The group of projects approved for investment policy include: General hospital in Tuan Chau ward; social housing project in Uong Bi ward; wastewater treatment project in Hung Thang service urban area, Bai Chay ward; Hon Giai high-class forest and sea eco-tourism resort in Van Don special zone; along with a number of industrial, mining and concentrated livestock projects.
The two projects awarded the decision to establish are Vo Ngai Industrial Cluster in Binh Lieu commune and Thong Nhat Industrial Cluster in Thong Nhat commune.
The projects have a total investment capital of more than 16,000 billion VND, belonging to many fields such as industry, industrial clusters, urban areas, social housing, tourism, services, health and environment.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Bui Van Khang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The National Assembly Chairman has signed a Resolution establishing Quang Ninh city, so Quang Ninh will enter a new stage of development, the goals of growth and development are set at a higher level.
The projects and works awarded decisions this time are works that contribute to creating more motivation to build Quang Ninh city rich, strong, civilized, modern, and happy. Each project and work is a new production capacity and a new resource for Quang Ninh's development.
Quang Ninh is committed to continuing to improve the investment environment, improve the efficiency of administrative procedure settlement, and at the same time strictly control the progress, quality and efficiency of land use, ensuring that projects after being approved truly transform into production and business capacity and new development values.
It is requested that investors urgently complete procedures, mobilize resources, organize construction and soon put the project into operation. The implementation process must ensure progress, quality and compliance with the provisions of law on investment, land, construction, environment and related regulations.
The Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee also expressed his wish that investors become long-term partners, accompanying the locality to build a dynamic, modern, green and sustainable economy.
