The growing trend of green consumption is affecting Vietnamese businesses, requiring the production of goods according to green and clean criteria to attract consumers. Mr. Hoang Quang Phong, Vice President of VCCI, said that Vietnam's participation in 19 free trade agreements has created conditions for domestic businesses to connect more deeply with international markets.
However, according to Directorate Statistics, more than 30% of Vietnamese supporting industry enterprises still use manual control equipment and over 50% use semi-automatic equipment, while only more than 10% apply full automation. This shows the urgent need for technological transformation in production.
Businesses have begun to make efforts to meet international green standards, such as Thanh Giong Computer Company, which has invested in infrastructure and technology to develop green products. At the same time, many other businesses have also applied solutions such as renewable energy and circular economy, improving production efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
Switching to green production not only helps businesses meet market demand but also reduces costs and increases production stability, especially in the context of market fluctuations. This is a sustainable direction that helps Vietnamese businesses affirm their position on the global industrial map.
