Recorded at many supermarkets and shopping centers during the holidays, the number of customers increased significantly compared to normal days, especially at noon and evening. Fresh food, processed food, soft drinks and necessities are selling strongly. In particular, the promotional area is always crowded with people choosing.
To meet the increasing demand, many systems have increased personnel, opened more checkout counters and extended service hours, thanks to which shopping activities take place quite conveniently, without prolonged congestion.
Ms. Le Thanh Phuong (resident of Cau Kieu ward) shared: "This time I see that the supermarket prepares quite fully goods, prices are stable, and there are many discount programs, helping to save quite a bit and can shop more comfortably, not too frugally as before.
Mr. Tran Quoc Huy (resident of Xuan Hoa ward) said: "Goods are very diverse, many products are deeply discounted, so they are still worth buying. Many items are also decorated for this holiday, looking quite eye-catching. My family also bought more items for the upcoming short trip, so spending has increased compared to normal".

According to retail businesses, this year's holiday is prolonged due to the adjacent holidays, leading to a sharp increase in shopping demand for food, travel, picnics and family gatherings.
At the Co.opmart supermarket system, many preferential programs are implemented with discounts of up to 50% for fresh food, household appliances, and cosmetics. The vegetable and fruit area is always crowded with customers in the morning, especially green vegetables at the same price under 10,000 VND/bunch attracting a large number of housewives.
Meanwhile, the AEON system organizes the "Mega Sale" program lasting until May 3rd, applying deep discounts and uniform prices for many fashion items and summer supplies, and combining lucky draw activities. In addition, other retail systems such as Satra, Emart... also simultaneously launched promotions and strong discounts on many essential items, contributing to stimulating consumer demand during peak seasons.
