Many retail systems in Ho Chi Minh City simultaneously deeply reduced prices, increased the supply of goods, attracting people to shop early on the occasion of Hung Kings' Death Anniversary and the 30th of the lunar calendar.

Goods are also abundant, no need to worry about shortages.

Meanwhile, Mr. Dang Hoang Nam (Linh Xuan ward) commented that promotional programs when buying combo and double offers help save significant spending. "Going to the supermarket this time is both a festive atmosphere and you can buy many good-priced items, so you are also more assured about the cost.

Retailers said they have increased reserves and diversified supply sources to meet increased demand, while maintaining stable prices throughout the holiday.

GO! supermarket system implements a large-scale promotion program with the theme "For Vietnam quality every day", taking place from April 23 - June 6. During this time, many items are discounted up to 50%, along with daily experience activities organized from 10-22h. The program aims to create more shopping choices during the holidays, while emphasizing the criteria of controlling the origin and quality of products.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Van - Communications Director of Central Retail Vietnam Group - said that the program combines incentives and experiential activities, contributing to meeting shopping needs on April 30 - May 1, while creating conditions for consumers to access goods at reasonable costs.

At the same time, Saigon Co.op organized the launching ceremony of Co.opmart 30th anniversary month, launching a series of anniversary activities and major promotions during the year at more than 800 points of sale nationwide. The system includes Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.op Food, FineLife, Cheers, Co.op Smile, Sense and Co.op Online channel simultaneously deploying promotions from April 23 - May 13, with more than 10,000 essential items discounted up to 50%, combined with promotions and savings combos.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thang - Deputy General Director of Saigon Co.op - said that the activities during this occasion are part of the orientation to upgrade the system towards modernity and environmental friendliness, while maintaining the goal of serving consumer needs and supporting Vietnamese goods.

MM Mega Market Vietnam system also proactively increased the inventory of goods to about 50%, 20% higher than the same period in previous years to meet consumer demand during the long holiday.
