On July 26, according to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, taking advantage of favorable weather, contractors including Dai Hiep Co., Ltd. and Dong Anh General Trading Co., Ltd. are focusing on accelerating the construction of soil filling and road foundation, drainage system, and lighting poles at the VSIP Ha Tinh Project.
According to records, currently, a fairly large area near the project gate on National Highway 15A has completed infrastructure investment including road paving, sidewalk paving, installation of lighting and planting trees. While most of the other areas of the project are still focusing on leveling the ground.
At the construction site, trucks, machinery, and workers are working urgently and actively to focus on speeding up progress.
Mr. Nguyen Phung Luu - Chairman of Viet Xuyen Commune People's Committee - said that contractors are focusing on accelerating construction progress at the VSIP Ha Tinh Project.
Also according to Mr. Luu, although not yet completed, the VSIP Ha Tinh Project has attracted a few interested secondary investors, with the plan to invest in garment, textile and sanitary equipment factories.
The project to invest in construction and business of infrastructure of Bac Thach Ha Industrial Park, also known as VSIP Ha Tinh (phase 1), was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision 1003 dated August 29, 2023 with an area of 190.41 ha in Thach Lien and Viet Tien communes (now Dong Kinh and Viet Xuyen communes).
VSIP Ha Tinh project is invested by Vietnam Singapore Urban and Industrial Zone Development JSC. The total investment of the project is 1,555 billion VND. The project was started in June 2024.
VSIP Ha Tinh is expected to create attractive attraction for domestic and foreign investors in fields such as: Electricity and electronics, semiconductor, precision mechanics, energy, electric vehicle batteries, metals, auto parts, food processing, warehousing services, factories for rent...
The project is expected to create more than 30,000 jobs, creating momentum for development and economic restructuring of Ha Tinh province.
