TASS reported that 3 oil tankers tried to move through the Strait of Hormuz without Iran's permission, leading to an explosion and fire on one of these ships, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on July 23.

The Iranian armed forces noted that as long as the Strait of Hormuz remains under Iran's control, no ships will be able to enter and exit this waterway route without the consent of this country.
Previously, on July 22, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned shipping lines not to use the southern sea route of the Strait of Hormuz, saying that this area had been mined and posed a major risk to maritime operations.
