On August 9, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province coordinated with Thu Thua Industrial and Urban Development Joint Stock Company (IDTT) to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the Thu Thua Industrial Park infrastructure project in Thu Thua commune.
Former President Truong Tan Sang, Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Quyet, Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut and leaders and former leaders of the province during the ceremony.

This is the first new industrial park in the province after merging with Long An, with an area of 170.7 hectares, a total investment of nearly 3,000 billion VND. The project location is about 45 km from Ho Chi Minh City, conveniently connecting with highways and international ports.
According to Mr. Le Thanh Tung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of IDTT, Thu Thua Industrial Park is planned synchronously, environmentally friendly, meeting the operational requirements in the value chain of enterprises. The project is implemented in two phases, of which phase 1 is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, phase 2 from 2026 to 2027.
Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut said that the industrial park will focus on attracting processing - manufacturing, supporting industries, electricity - electronics, logistics and high-tech agriculture.

The industrial park is oriented to apply green - smart standards, integrate services to support production and workers' lives. When completed, the project is expected to create jobs for about 20,000 - 25,000 workers, contributing to increasing budget revenue and promoting local economic restructuring.

Thu Thua Industrial Park is one of the projects to celebrate the National Day of the Year 2.9 of Tay Ninh province. From now until this date, the province plans to start many more projects with a total investment of about 100,000 billion VND.
