Accordingly, Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) is the only Vietnamese representative to be honored in two categories: Stevie® Gold Award for Achievement in Generative AI application (Gold Stevie® Award – Achievement in Generative AI) for Joule virtual assistant and Stevie® Silver Award for Employer of the Year (Silver Stevie® Award – Employer of the Year – Banking).
Stevie® Awards for Great Employers is a prestigious international award, honoring organizations with excellent working environments, human resources and innovative solutions. At the 11th season, surpassing thousands of applications independently appraised by more than 160 experts, Techcombank is proud to be the only Vietnamese representative to be honored simultaneously in both of these prestigious categories.
The award recognizes Techcombank's efforts in building a high-performance working environment, where personnel are given the opportunity to develop their abilities, master their work and participate in strategic transformation tasks of the organization and the finance - banking industry.
In the Employer of the Year category, Techcombank won the Silver Stevie® Global Award (Silver Stevie® Award – Employer of the Year – Banking). The results are based on professional evaluations and more than 178,000 public votes from the global public.
This achievement affirms Techcombank's international competitiveness when standing alongside prestigious financial institutions such as San Diego County Credit Union (USA - Gold Medal), while surpassing Cathay United Bank (Taiwan (China) - Bronze Medal) and Halkbank (Turkey - Bronze Medal).
In the Generative AI Application Achievement category (Gold Stevie® Award – Achievement in Generative AI), Techcombank won the Gold Award with the Generative AI Joule assistant deployed by the Human Resources Management Division. Tool to help employees access information, optimize human resources tasks and improve performance, especially in the year-end evaluation cycle.
After three months of launch, Joule recorded from 1,500 to more than 2,000 active users per month, equivalent to 11-16% of Techcombank's workforce. Joule also ranked No. 1 in the Asia-Pacific region on the SAP SuccessFactors system in terms of the number of unique users.
The application of Joule contributed to reducing 28% of personnel policy-related support requests, equivalent to about 340 requests in three months. The tool achieved an average evaluation score of 4.8/5 from employees; 84% of respondents said Joule helped them better understand year-end evaluation regulations, while 77% said that information and tasks supported by AI helped them complete work more accurately and efficiently.
The Joule launch campaign also created a positive effect internally, with more than 9,000 video views, 1,000 comments, discussions and more than 800 employees participating in live events at the three headquarters.

The results show that Techcombank is bringing AI into the employee experience, towards AI-first organization. Instead of just seeing Generative AI as a technology solution, the bank focuses on exploiting technology to improve human capacity and work productivity.
Extending the series of technological achievements, Techcombank was also honored at the SAP Customer Excellence Awards for Southeast Asia 2026 with the Line of Business Transformation Award. This is a category recognizing organizations that create substantive transformation in core business functions through technology, with a focus on processes, user experience, application level and practical impact.
The award honors the journey of human resource management transformation on the SAP SuccessFactors platform, from standardizing and digitizing HR processes to bringing data, AI and smart experiences into daily work. Joule is a prominent proof of this process.
This shift shows that the digital transformation process at Techcombank is developing from building a digital HR platform to changing the way employees interact, work and create value. In which, Joule is a prominent example, helping the personnel team access information and perform work more conveniently and efficiently.

Ms. Nguyen Le Thao Nguyen - Deputy Director of Human Resources Partnership Division, Techcombank, shared: "Two prestigious international awards from Stevie® Awards are recognition for Techcombank for turning AI strategy into specific experiences for employees. For us, building an AI-first organization does not start from technology but from people: helping each employee understand, trust and use AI responsibly to develop their own capabilities.
This is also how we realize the spirit of Real Talent and Humanity in the AI era: developing the actual capacity of each person, while applying technology to create better value for employees, customers and organizations. Joule is an important step forward in that journey”.
In the next phase, Techcombank is committed to continuing to invest in AI platforms, data capacity and talent development, towards building an organization where technology is applied throughout but people still play a central role.
The achievements at Stevie® Awards for Great Employers 2026 and SAP Awards 2026 are not only an international milestone for the Human Resources Division, but also recognize a new approach to workplaces in the AI era: technology is developed to serve people, while people are empowered to unlock the potential of technology.
