Thanh Hoa builds corporate culture from 6 core values

Thanh Hoa - The province aims to make business ethics and culture the foundation in the activities of the business community and entrepreneurs.

On August 18, news from the Office of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that, implementing Decision No. 1157/QD-TTg dated June 26, 2026 of the Prime Minister on the Framework of Ethics and Business Culture, Thanh Hoa identifies building a civilized, professional, transparent and responsible business environment as one of the key tasks.

The province orients to encourage businesses and entrepreneurs to take business ethics as the foundation; considering prestige, quality, social responsibility and harmony of interests as core values in production and business.

Building corporate culture is associated with improving competitiveness, building business brands, local products, and promoting economic development associated with cultural and human development in Thanh Hoa.

The standard framework is implemented on the basis of 6 values including: Humanity, Integrity, Transparency, Responsibility, Creativity and Integration, in which Humanity values play a central role.

Accordingly, businesses are encouraged to respect people, put customers and employees at the center; comply with the law, be honest, prevent corruption; be transparent about information, contracts and management; and be responsible to society, the community and the environment.

Along with that, businesses need to consider innovation as a driving force for development, expanding international vision but still promoting Vietnamese identity.

One of the notable contents is to encourage businesses to build and promulgate codes of conduct and internal cultural standards suitable to the field and scale of operation.

Building corporate culture is also associated with protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, consumer rights, building a safe and civilized working environment, and developing harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.

Thanh Hoa also encourages businesses to build brands based on combining production capacity, product quality, business reputation with local cultural, historical and human values.

By 2027, Thanh Hoa aims for 100% of agencies, organizations representing businesses and related business associations to be propagated about the Standard Framework.

The province plans to select 15 pilot enterprises, striving for 2 enterprises to build a code of conduct or a code of corporate ethics based on the Standard Framework. At least 100 entrepreneurs and enterprises will be trained, raise awareness and guide the application of these standards.

By 2030, Thanh Hoa aims to have at least 29 enterprises applying the Standard Framework, gradually meeting the requirements for products and services according to international standards; and at the same time supporting the promotion of at least 20 enterprises with products and services associated with local cultural identity.

The province will organize training programs; develop guidance materials, electronic materials, videos and online courses on culture and business ethics. Businesses are also encouraged to include this content in periodic training programs for managers and employees.

The Provincial Labor Federation is proposed to integrate the content of ethics and business culture in emulation movements and Trade Union activities, associated with the movement "Good labor, creative labor", building harmonious labor relations and sustainable business development.

Along with the pilot program, the province will select, commend and replicate typical businesses and entrepreneurs in practicing ethics and business culture, thereby spreading responsible business models in the Thanh Hoa business community.
