Private Enterprise Phước Thạnh Oil Company has its head office located at number 1065, National Highway 22, Mây Đắng hamlet, Phước Thạnh commune, Củ Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City.
The enterprise owns a Business Registration Certificate number: 0301446503 issued by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Planning and Investment for the first time on September 11, 1997, and modified for the sixth time on March 30, 2015. The Certificate of Sufficient Conditions for Trading in Oil and Gas number 501 was issued by the Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on January 28, 2022.
The reason for revocation is that private enterprise Phước Thạnh Oil Company has submitted a request in Document number 16 dated June 24, 2024, regarding the request for revocation of the Certificate of Sufficient Conditions for Trading in Oil and Gas.
According to the Domestic Market Department - Ministry of Industry and Trade, in order to implement the state management task in the field of oil and gas business, in recent times, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has requested oil and gas trading enterprises to report on the maintenance of conditions for trading in oil and gas as prescribed.
Through the report, inspection, many oil and gas trading enterprises have not maintained the conditions for trading in oil and gas as prescribed, and the enterprises have voluntarily returned their Certificates of Sufficient Conditions. However, the Ministry of Industry and Trade affirms that the return of certificates by enterprises does not affect the oil and gas business activities.
The forecast of domestic oil and gas supply for the last 6 months of 2024 is approximately 12.76 million tons, equivalent to about 15.3 million m3/t. The total domestic production and import for the last 6 months of 2024 (according to the report of oil and gas trading enterprises) is estimated to be approximately 13.3 million m3/t of various types of oil and gas.
The estimated consumption for the last 6 months of 2024 is approximately 13.2 million m3/t (approximately 2.2 million m3/t per month). Stockpiles are estimated to be around 1.8 - 2 million tons. Therefore, the oil and gas supply will be sufficient to meet the needs of the people and businesses.
