At the end of August 2024, the investor invited bids for Package No. 32: Construction of a branch line in the inter-regional road project with a value of more than 121 billion VND. After the bid opening, there were 7 contractors participating. Of which, there were 2 joint ventures of 559 Commercial Construction Joint Stock Company and 207 Construction Joint Stock Company as the main joint venture, 5 individual contractors participating, namely Traffic Construction Corporation 8 - JSC, Xuan Quang Construction Joint Stock Company, Duy Bao Trading and Construction Joint Stock Company, Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company 144, Tu Lap Construction Company Limited (one of the contractors constructing the main line).
According to the reporter's investigation at the National Bidding Network (website address: muasamcong.mpi.gov.vn), the results of the new contractor selection publicly posted by the investor show that the Traffic Construction Corporation 8 - JSC has surpassed the remaining 6 contractors to win Package No. 32: Construction of branch lines.
In particular, with the winning bid value of more than 96 billion VND, much lower (more than 25 billion VND) than the bid package value of 121 billion VND, the savings rate is nearly 20%.
Thus, Tu Lap Construction Company Limited - one of the contractors that previously constructed the main inter-regional road will not participate in the construction of the branch line.
