Speaking at the award ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan emphasized that this is an opportunity to encourage, recognize and honor authors and groups of authors with outstanding typical works and collectives and individuals who have actively participated in the contest, implementing Resolution 35-NQ/TW of the Politburo on strengthening the protection of the Party's foundation and ideology, fighting against wrong and hostile views in the new situation; and at the same time reviewing the results achieved through the process of organizing, launching and implementing the contest throughout the industry.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan said that 2026 is the first year to implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system faces new and higher requirements, requiring good implementation of key tasks and solutions set out by the 14th Congress.
Protecting the Party's ideological foundation is not only a political and ideological requirement but needs to be concretized by practical ways, associated with the reality of each sector and field. In 2026, the Contest has gone through 3 annual seasons, first held in 2023 and continued to be maintained in 2024 and 2026. Through each season, the contest increasingly affirms its quality and spread in the entire Industry and Trade sector.
According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, one of the noteworthy points of this year's contest is the large number of entries (nearly 500 entries), with the active and responsible participation of a large number of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers working at party organizations, agencies, units, socio-political organizations in the Ministry of Industry and Trade and readers nationwide.
Through the entries, I realize a very valuable point: The entries this year, besides the diversity of content, the authors not only stop at presenting the theory of implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and the Party's key resolutions, but also link the theory with the reality of the Industry and Trade sector: From specific issues in management, production associated with industry, trade, energy, and industry integration to come up with perspectives, proposals and highly feasible solutions, towards serving the people and businesses, building the country," Deputy Minister Tan emphasized.
In 2026, the Organizing Committee received nearly 500 entries. The Organizing Committee selected 28 typical works/written works to award prizes, including: 1 Special Prize; 1 First Prize; 5 thematic prizes; 3 Second Prizes; 6 Third Prizes; 12 Consolation Prizes and 5 certificates of merit for units and collectives with many achievements in organizing the contest well; 10 certificates of merit for individuals and organizations who participated well in the Contest and 22 typical works certified to enter the final round.

The first prize belonged to the work "Protecting the Party's ideological foundation through practical effectiveness - a perspective from the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW in the Industry and Trade sector" by author Nguyen Thi Lam Giang, Director of the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade).
