Faced with the above situation, the Ninh Binh Provincial Market Management force has strengthened local management and supervision in gasoline and oil business. At the same time, promptly detect and strictly handle violations in gasoline and oil business activities.
On March 15, the Market Management Sub-Department (under the Department of Industry and Trade of Ninh Binh province) inspected and administratively sanctioned a gas station selling goods higher than the maximum price according to regulations.
Accordingly, on March 12, Market Management Team No. 7, Ninh Binh Provincial Market Management Sub-Department received feedback from people about gas station No. 1 - Linh Luong Development and Trading Joint Stock Company (address at road 21B, Ninh Giang commune, Ninh Binh province) selling at prices higher than regulations.
Through grasping the situation and actual inspection at gas station No. 1, the Market Management force discovered that the station showed signs of selling gasoline and oil at prices higher than the maximum price frame issued by the State, as reflected by the people.
Based on the inspection results, Market Management Team No. 7 issued a Decision to sanction administrative violations against the store owner for the act of selling gasoline and oil above the maximum level compared to the price frame issued by the State.
Currently, the Ninh Binh provincial market management force is coordinating with functional units to implement a peak period of strengthening supervision, grasping the situation and inspecting gasoline and oil business activities in the area.
According to the Ninh Binh Provincial Market Management Department, in general, the gasoline and oil market in the province is basically stable, and the supply at gas stations is guaranteed.
Through supervision work, it is shown that stores basically comply well with the provisions of law in gasoline and oil business activities, implement listing and selling at listed prices.
However, the monitoring process recorded that in the past time in the province, there were more than 10 gas stations temporarily suspending sales due to lack of goods or being in the process of ownership transfer.
To ensure a stable gasoline and oil market, gasoline and oil retail stores in Ninh Binh province have signed commitments with the Market Management force to ensure gasoline and oil supply.
Stores continue to strictly implement the provisions of law in gasoline and oil business activities; sell gasoline and oil fully and accurately in quantity and quality to consumers. Do not stop selling goods without a valid reason; do not arbitrarily increase prices, sell at prices not in accordance with the listed price; do not trade in smuggled gasoline and oil, of unknown origin, and not ensuring quality.
In addition, do not speculate and hoard goods, create scarcity of gasoline and oil supply, do not sell in small quantities, hold back, and open for sale on time as registered with the Department of Industry and Trade.
In case of stopping sales, there must be a legitimate reason or the consent and approval of the Department of Industry and Trade. Proactively raise awareness of responsibility in ensuring supply and stabilizing the market.
