Tien Len Steel Group Joint Stock Company (HoSE: TLH) has just announced that it has received Decision No. 3344/QD-XPHC from the Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department on administrative penalties for tax violations.
According to the penalty decision, Tien Len Steel committed an administrative violation by making false declarations leading to an increase in the refunded value added tax. Therefore, the company was fined nearly VND 73.6 million, the penalty level according to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 16 of Decree No. 125/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government.
The Company is responsible for calculating and paying late payment fines from the day following the deadline for paying fines (if any) to the day immediately preceding the actual payment of the collected amount and fines to the State Budget as prescribed.
Tien Len Steel Group Corporation was established in 1988, formerly a building materials store. The company officially became a public company in 2009, with its main business being the trading of building materials, of which the main products are iron and steel products. In 2010, the company's shares were officially listed on the HOSE with the stock code TLH.
On the stock market, TLH shares fell sharply. At the end of the trading session on January 3, TLH's market price stopped at VND4,540/share, down 1.7% compared to the reference price, with a matched volume of 166.6 thousand shares.
