I think raising a child is a combination of many methods. Sometimes you have to be tough to make the child understand the limits, but sometimes you need to be gentle to listen and share. Everything depends on each situation, the personality of each child as well as the educational orientation of each family," Ms. Lien shared.
Besides studying culture, she always creates conditions for her children to participate in skills and art classes to comprehensively develop both thinking and emotions. Currently, her eldest child is learning to play the piano, while the younger child is learning to draw to nurture creativity and concentration.
Regarding foreign languages, Ms. Lien chose the method of creating a natural communication environment instead of just learning from books. The children regularly chat with native teachers every day, thereby being able to communicate in English quite confidently in everyday situations.
According to Ms. Lien, the most important thing in the journey of raising children is not the application of any method, but the love and companionship of parents.
I don't think there is any advice that is suitable for all families. Only when parents truly love their children can they find the most suitable way to raise their children. If there is anything to send to parents, I just hope everyone will spend as much time as possible with their children in their own conditions. Parents' time with their children is always the most precious thing," Ms. Lien expressed.
