According to Mr. Dinh Tien Thanh (Hanoi), both Mr. and Mrs. Thanh are busy with work, so their children's summer vacation does not necessarily have to participate in anything too big, but only do simple things, creating a longer-lasting sense of connection.
Teaching children housework is also quite important for children to have more awareness and responsibility to help the family depending on age. Simply helping parents wash vegetables, set up rice cookers or cook gentle summer meals according to adult instructions will help children become more independent.
In addition, Mr. and Mrs. Thanh also agreed to take turns taking their children to experience some extracurricular subjects such as drawing, martial arts, swimming to improve their health as well as learn self-defense skills.
Weekends will be a time when the whole family is together, summer is hot, so Mr. Thanh's family prioritizes taking their children to shopping centers so that members can conveniently shop, eat, and entertain at the amusement park. This is also the way Mr. Thanh humorously said that "Day without screens" is for husband and wife and children to spend quality relaxation time together.
