In the afternoon of May 25, after finishing the Math exam in the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year, many candidates in Hung Yen left the exam room with a comfortable and confident mood. Most assessed that the exam questions were moderate, closely followed the review content and had appropriate differentiation.
According to records, after leaving the exam room, candidates commented that this year's exam questions have a structure familiar to students, combining basic questions and application forms to classify competencies.
Many students believe that the multiple-choice part is not too difficult, helping students easily score points, while the final questions require more thinking to create differences between groups of candidates.
Pham Mai Chi, a student at Vu Doai Primary and Secondary School (Vu Tien commune, Hung Yen province) - said that the exam questions were rated as "easy to breathe" compared to some surveys she had done at school. According to Chi, many questions are related to real-life situations, so students can easily access and apply knowledge to do the test.
“The teachers reviewed very carefully, so when I entered the exam room, I was quite confident. It's just a pity that I didn't have much time to think more carefully about the short answers at the end of the exam because the multiple-choice part takes up quite a lot of time” - Mai Chi shared.

Sharing the same excited mood, Do Thai Son, a student of Vu Hoi Secondary School (Vu Thu commune, Hung Yen province) commented that the exam questions were moderate, suitable for the students' abilities that had been carefully reviewed.
“I find most of the questions familiar, not surprising. Although there are still a few questions that are not really certain, the exam time is enough to complete. I hope I can get over 7 points” - Son said.
According to a report from the Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen province, in the Math exam session on the afternoon of May 25, the whole province had 42,392 candidates taking the exam, 296 students were absent. The exam took place safely and seriously, and no violations of regulations or unusual situations were recorded.
On the morning of May 26, candidates will continue to take the English exam in multiple-choice format, with a test time of 60 minutes. In the afternoon of the same day, candidates registering for specialized high schools will enter the specialized exam subjects with a test time of 150 minutes.
