Since he was a student, Giang Chau (28 years old, Hung Yen) has enjoyed driving long distances and exploring places with majestic and wild nature.
That passion gradually grew in the female tourist, urging her to look for National Parks across the three regions of the North, Central, and South and to approach closer to the life of animals and plants that need to be cared for and preserved.
Love for the forest is "sorted"
The trip to Cat Tien National Park (Dong Nai) was the opportunity to bring Ms. Giang Chau to explore the National Parks later. In December 2023, she registered to volunteer for a 1-week wildlife rescue program in Cat Tien National Park.
Thanks to the conversations with Mr. Pham Xuan Thinh - Director of Cat Tien National Park, I understand more about forests, about the activities of national parks, and above all, I feel the enthusiasm of the staff. From there, I want to spread quiet stories in conservation and sharing the natural beauty so that people pay more attention to the forest, the female tourist expressed.
The first trip was so impressive that for Jiangzhou, Cat Tien National Park still left her with the most memories. She herself also spent a lot of time here. She even stayed in the garden for 3 weeks to learn, both serving her current work and satisfying her personal interests.
In Cat Tien, female tourists witnessed many wild animals such as monkeys, monkeys, free running on the lawns, monkey families climbing on bamboo bushes, beautiful tail feathers, even squirrels, monkeys, and monkeys...

In particular, Bau Sau, a flooded area, known as the heart of Cat Tien National Park, is home to the most biodiversity in the country and home to more than 500 crocodiles living freely in the cages. The female tourist could observe, hear their voices, and learn about the life of crocodiles with her own eyes.
However, the experience of going to see animals at night still made her feel overwhelmed when recalling: "It was the first time I had to see animals at night and see so many big animals! I was very moved when I saw the wild world in real life. Many people were lucky to see the goose herd but I have not been able to meet them. Every night is a different surprise because some groups of visitors will meet this species, some visitors will meet another species".
On his return to Bau Sau afterwards, Giang Chau also brought his friends to bring chicken and food to cook with the rangers.
To get to Bau Sau, visitors have to walk 5km of the forest road, however, those who really love nature, especially foreign visitors, still want to return to Bau Sau many times, the female tourist happily said.
Spreading the love of the forest
Coming to many national parks in the country, being able to explore interesting things by yourself, Giang Chau understands that each national park has different characteristics.
Yok Don (Dak Lak) is the only National Park in Vietnam that still owns an ecosystem of dry forests, also known as broadleaf mangrove forests, with leaves dropping in the dry season, originally only in Southeast Asia. During the leaf-falling season, from November to April of the following year, the whole forest changes leaves and turns impressively red.
In particular, with the effort to bring domestic elephants back to the forest, I was able to see and follow the elephants walking in the forest. Honestly, I feel very happy at those moments when elephants are released and live in their wild house, Ms. Giang Chau shared.
Vu Quang National Park (Ha Tinh) is the first place in the world to discover two species: Sao La and Big. During the last 2024 trip, although it has not been seen with the natural animals, but through the story of the officials, female tourists still feel the biodiversity in Vu Quang.

In Nui Chua National Park (Ninh Thuan), Giang Chau also participated as a volunteer to rescue sea turtles for 1 week. She remembered the moment when she saw the newly blooming turtles running on the sand, until they brought them back to the blue sea made anyone touched. The group prayed together to overcome the obstacles to grow up, after 25-30 years, they could return here to lay eggs.
Besides, through every trip, female tourists also meet people who are dedicated to the forest. She expressed: "The more I go, the more I see the beautiful and majestic Vietnam nature, the forest is the source of life. Many individuals and organizations are trying and devoted to the wildlife conservation and environmental protection. I hope that every tourist comes to the forest, when they go to climb, they will be aware of leaving no garbage for nature."
